My Chu's Pearls Story When I started Chu’s Pearls, I was looking for something that would help me alleviate some financial burden from my husband. My greatest wish is to give my children a more beautiful smile. With braces costing a fortune, I needed a job. I didn't want the average 9 to 5 that cost me more than just time, but would eventually cost me my family. Not only did I need financial freedom, but I needed the freedom to do the things I was passionate about, like my family and the ministry. I found out about Chu’s Pearls through a lovely friend, Lacy Meredith, who was sooo excited to share the news about her new cool "side" job. She was very enthusiastic about Chu's and how it opened up so many potential possibilities to find new friendships all while creating a new source of income. The funny thing about coming in contact with her was that I was trying to decide whether or not to join another company at the same time. I laid both companies before the Lord in prayer, asking Him for a sign. Boy did I get one, Lacy asked me to attend a monthly area meeting and by the time I left I was hooked. That night I was initially attracted to doing Chu’s Pearls because of the standard of Excellence, Integrity and the Character of Elizabeth and Samson. The agenda of the night covered the rules of responsibility and respect for the client and by treating them with the highest of level of respect not only earns you a paycheck but a friend for life. Being a pastor, whose job is people, this was the first time a business was more concerned with the client rather than just dollar signs. When I first started actively working my business, I was surprised to find that this business has allowed me to continue to do what I do everyday, without having to compromise my standard of integrity and character. As a Chu’s Pearls distributor, I have been able to fit these showings into my already busy schedule. It has given me the freedom to go be at my children's games, church functions, family vacations or just a night off. The luxury of planning my own schedule is PRICELESS! My favorite part of my Chu’s Pearls business is our monthly meetings. I get so excited to see and hear how everyone else is doing in their business. We get to celebrate their successes with claps and cheers. There is nothing like the power you feel when your "new" friends are excited and wishing you well. The rewards are so cool and the praise is an esteem builder. These are just a few things that make Chu’s Pearls really different and unique. The other amazing thing that sets them apart is knowing that I'm not just another number. Because the company is still growing and it is in its toddler stage, I have the ability to grow with it. So, when we become International, I can say that I was there when.... My involvement in Chu’s Pearls has helped me to know that the possibilities are limitless. The only way I become limited is if I allow it. I don't know what the future holds for me in my Chu’s Pearls business, but I'm excited for every new day that holds blessings and favor. It's like getting a birthday present everyday, a new surprise awaits at every corner. I can say truly say that I am challenged to be the next person that will offer you the opportunity of a lifetime. One that offers not only financial potential but personal growth and prosperity. One day I will be rich, but today I recognize that wealth is far more than just money. I have a wonderful family, and amazing ministry and now I have the means to continue to enjoy it by selling Chu's Pearls and that makes me rich. |
